Slovak Chamber of Mediators
Slovak Chamber of Mediators is a professional association of mediators. For this purposes it fulfills functions, tasks and utilizes powers resulting for professional associations from legislation in force and from conventions, increases professional, ethic, moral and social level of performance of mediation among members of associations - mediators, harmonizes work methods and procedures applied by them, unifies conditions for performance of mediation activities for members of professional association, implements tools for improvement of public awareness about mediation and its effects on all-social knowledge and acceptance of alternative disputes and conflicts resolution outside court proceedings in SR, provides professional methodical help, deals with study of mediation institute evolution and its effects in relation to court resolution of disputes in SR.
